Our Organization
We are a voluntary organization of individuals committed to engage in a series of philanthropic ventures in Gabon, the country of our Peace Corps service, as a way to renew connections with Gabon which left an enduring impact on our lives.
We are not affiliated with the Peace Corps, but we aim to provide a focal point for the volunteer activities decided by our members in their effort to renew connections with Gabon. This organization aspires in all its activities to align itself with the three goals outlined by the Peace Corps during our service:
- To help the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
- To help promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
- To help promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.
Encore de la Paix is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
